PHP Developer Qualifications

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in PHP development or web development are a plus.

Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in PHP development.
- Proven experience in developing web applications using PHP frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and libraries such as jQuery or Vue.js.

Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of core PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
- Proficiency in working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services and APIs.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Experience with Linux server environments and command-line operations.

Framework and CMS:
- Expertise in using PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.
- Experience with popular Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress or Joomla is a plus.

Testing and Debugging:
- Ability to perform unit testing and debugging.
- Experience with test-driven development (TDD) is an advantage.
